Responsibilities:
You will support the CFO and fully cover in the absence of the DWS Korean Team Lead. You are responsible for V&C on DWS Kore Head Officer reporting, month-end closing, regulatory submission, transfer pricing process, any indirect and corporate taxes, assisting on treasury related matters as necessary and providing accurate and timely management reporting that meets the business needs whilst ensuring that the business operates in a controlled fashion. This role will also cover entity planning, Internal Control and Oversight, and Relationship Management including dealing with various DWS and DB teams.

- Review and analysis of month end financial accounting for DWS Korea, including the analysis of month end Profit and Loss.
-Review, validate and sign-off local and IFRS GAAP Trial Balance, P&L, Balance sheet.
- Perform V&C on various reporting requirements of DWS Korea, such as regulatory returns and statutory accounts, MECC, Flash, Items of Focus (IoF), Tax, and management reporting, such as Board Pack.
- Work closely with offshore group (DKS and Accenture) and Tax Group to ensure that head office and regulatory reporting requirements are met.
- As a key contact for external auditors and regulators.
- Involve in entity planning and forecasting processes working with APAC CFO and DWS Korea team lead.-? Oversight on accounts payable controls to ensure regular settlements and avoid long outstanding receivables and payables.
- Review, analysis and advisory where Finance input is required. Consequently, excellent analytical skills will be required.
- Liaise with TP Governance to ensure alignment with TP topics and inventories are kept.
- Review of DWS Korea cost TPs, invoicing, and settlement to relevant DWS and DB entities.
- Subject matter expert for Korea accounting policies/standards.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification ideally a qualified accountant
- You have at least 10 years demonstrated working experiences in regulatory reporting, financial accounting, and management reporting
- Within in Asset Management/ Investment Management/ banking or related financial institution or external auditing
- Familiar with the local GAAP, tax and other regulatory audits
- Process Re-Engineering and strong analytical skills
- Proficient in SAP, Microsoft office including Excel
- Good communication skills to communicate at all levels, onshore and & stakeholder management in Korean and English-? Ability to work independently and take ownership
